The Broadband Networks team is delivering a world-class customer experience by expanding our fibre-optic infrastructure directly to homes and businesses across B.C., Alberta and Quebec.

The investment will ensure speed and capacity for generations to come, and create the foundation for access to future solutions like the connected home, smart cities, and our TELUS Health applications. This program is helping enable innovation in the delivery of education, healthcare solutions and consumer & business products and services while putting Canadian communities at the forefront of the emerging digital economy.

What YOU Do:

  • Our team works with residential and commercial real estate developers to ensure TELUS network is a valued part of their new developments and to maximize loading in those properties as people and businesses move in

  • You will be a key member of the New Growth Markets team, delivering on key loading and partnership metrics in our customer base by leading a team of sales professionals across AB and BC

  • Develop and implement tactics with the New Growth Markets Channel Management and Marketing teams to drive loading and partnerships in your target segment

  • Constantly evaluate field coverage, training and support needs to best support the ever changing business needs

  • Participate in establishing channel and individual targets and objectives

  • Proactively improve our market presence and sales by understanding our real estate development partners and developing programs accordingly

  • Track record of collaborations leveraging internal and external stakeholder relationships

  • Confidently present ideas to C-Suite level leaders

  • Ability to thrive in a team environment

  • At ease in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at various technical and business levels

  • Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience, ideally with business development responsibilities

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with minimum 5 years of experience leading a team, including motivating, mentoring, coaching, and developing team members

  • Ability to travel within Western Canada (2-3 days/month)
