Job Introduction

This position will be responsible for maintaining multiple corporate entities and holding companies. The incumbent will engage in full cycle accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash. While also preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end reports along with supporting the annual budget process.

Major Responsibilities
  • Create and post journal entries for multiple corporate entities and holding companies
  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany and other specific accounts
  • Process A/P transactions & expense reports
  • Prepare daily bank entries and reconciliations
  • Compile monthly invoices
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end, quarterly and year-end working papers
  • Support annual budget process
  • Assist in preparing tax and transfer pricing schedules
  • Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards as outlined in the Company handbook
  • Assist in other duties, as required
Knowledge and Education
  • Post secondary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the Accounting field
Work Experience
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Accounting software experience - AccPac knowledge would be a plus
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
