Telus Business Systems Analyst II in BC, Canada
Responsibility for providing analysis, testing and support services, and business processes for critical application area within the Wireline portfolio.
A major component of the role includes guiding and facilitating the business partners in creating quality requirements and process designs that can be developed into technical solutions
Full coverage and quality of test planning and execution
Partnering with the business to ensure project/application delivery is aligned to our long term road map
Responding to and performing impact analysis on incoming service/support requests
Leading vendor relationships to coordinate effective delivery
This includes communication to business partners and SOW reviews
Participating in production support analysis
Netcracker experience is an asset
Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/Scrum is a must
Knowledge of telecom OSS/BSS systems is an asset
Candidates with knowledge of Wireline order management, provisioning, fulfilment and workflow development will be given preference

Request analysis and prioritization
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexity, meet deadlines, works well under pressure
Requirements management techniques and requirements gathering, design specification, usability design, test plan development and execution skills
Proven ability to build trusting relationships with key stakeholders
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
A university degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering is preferred although a college diploma with the required experience would be acceptable
- 4 years in a BSA equivalent role
