Telus Senior Market Manager (Broadband Networks, Consumer Marketing ) in BC, Canada

Position Overview:

As a Senior Market Manager on the Broadband Networks, Consumer Marketing team, you’ll work with the leadership team to develop and realize our strategy in a quickly evolving competitive market. The successful candidate will help shape our TELUS PureFibre strategy across multicultural communities and customer retention activity. You’ll balance strong business acumen and quantitative analysis abilities with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. Working across several key stakeholder groups including those in Broadband Networks, Home Solutions, CSD, CE, B&E and Marketing Communications, expected outcomes will include:

  • Support the strategic development, planning & tactical execution of acquisition & retention campaigns from start to finish which drive customer engagement, loyalty and tenure

  • Successfully understand and uncover market opportunities and recommend, with execution, marketing strategies to realize business objectives

  • Budget management, planning, and accountability using SAP

  • Experience working on direct response, mass, social and digital activities

  • Formulating KPIs for loading & churn reduction initiatives and analyze key data inputs to measure success of activity going to market

  • Uphold the brand and act as a brand ambassador

Required Knowledge:

  • Strong go to market experience and consumer marketing

  • Strong project and campaign management

  • Strong direct marketing campaign development and execution

  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience with multicultural marketing and communications, strongly desired

  • Confidently present ideas and recommendations to leadership team

  • Able to effectively engage stakeholders to establish cross functional alignment for projects & initiatives

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Post-secondary degree in commerce or business administration

  • MBA is an asset

Required Experience:

  • 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in telecommunications/technology sector
