Telus Senior Strategy Manager - Home Solutions in BC, Canada

Position Overview:

Home Solutions marketing is looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to work with the leadership team to develop and realize our strategy in a quickly evolving competitive market. The successful candidate will help develop and articulate the business vision, create the strategic plan, facilitate initiative prioritization, help to foster an aligned and engaged culture and help the organization deliver those strategies to market through systems and processes that support collaboration, coordination and communication across teams.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Lead the development of overall business and marketing strategic plan and annual strategic reviews

  • Align Home Solutions vision, mission and associated product strategies with Corporate and EVP Marketing priorities to maximize business and customer value

  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop multi-product strategies that win against the competition

Strategic Governance & Operations

  • Architect, implement and enhance a transformational Marketing Operations System to improve collaboration, coordination and communication across cross-functional teams and external partners

  • Funnel and facilitate all Consumer wireline initiatives for VP prioritization to enable optimization of resourcing

  • Facilitate agile goal-setting framework to improve quarterly focus and speed and that aligns metrics/KPIs to strategy

Strategic Culture & Agile Facilitation

  • Develop and articulate cultural vision with leadership team

  • Engage in benchmarking exercises and advocate best practices across the Home Solutions business that improve team engagement and agility

  • Design and facilitate multiple cross-functional sprints, using lean & agile tools, to define business problems and develop new multi-product solutions that advance our strategy

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and storytelling skills

  • Confidently present ideas and recommendations to senior leaders (Directors/VPs)

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA an asset

Required Experience:

  • 7-10 years in a strategic business consulting or process improvement role, preferably in telecommunications/technology sector
