We are a group of DevOps engineers who collaborate with our development engineers to provide online services that enhance the gaming experience. We support EA’s Subscription products, online game sales, and game delivery products. We are looking for someone who has taken some hits, have found ways to quickly recover and is always looking to improve things. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of dealing with constant marketing promotions, games launches, and security threats as well as continuous delivery of new features and products. We are passionate about automation and ensuring we deliver our products and features with the high standards.

Help architect and implement solutions that solve complicated application challenges around performance, scaling, and security.
Instrument monitoring solutions to gain insight into application performance and understand emerging issues.
Maintain deployment software and tools (Jenkins, Chef, etc.)
Work closely with developers to ensure on time delivery of services.
Skills and Experience Required:
8+ years experience in system administration/engineering
Working knowledge of system administration/engineering in the video gaming industry
Experience with Cloud and/or Virtual technologies such as AWS(EC2, S3, RDS), Google and Vmware based solutions
Understanding of middleware, proxies and application integration.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.
Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
Experience managing a LAMP stack.
Working knowledge of networking (load balancing, TCP/IP, Virtual IP, etc.)
Understanding of Content Distribution, Proxies, and HTTP Caching.
Experience administering Java based technologies: Spring, JBOSS, Jetty, Tomcat.
Working knowledge of storage (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, etc.)
Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like Chef, Puppet and Jenkins.
