Looking for a unique temporary assignment to support the evolution of our recruitment marketing initiatives within Human Resources? Reporting to the manager, talent acquisition programs, you will be an important member of the team and responsible for driving us forward in the recruitment marketing and social media realm.
Lead meetings with recruiters and hiring leaders and recommend targeted marketing attraction plans for difficult to fill positions; create marketing campaigns, as appropriate
Manage all external vendor relationships
Act as the subject matter expert for recruitment marketing and social media
Respond to external comments as it relates to recruiting on social media, on behalf of Suncor
Create and schedule all job posts on our social media channels: Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter; bill back all targeted marketing to the appropriate hiring leader
Review content of all job postings and ensure alignment with our brand prior to being posted on our external job site
Assist in creating the marketing budget
Create and provide training on job posting guidelines and standards, and other topics, and lead various projects as the need arises
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and keep up-to-date on new tools and applications that we can leverage
Experience and Education:
Two or more years of experience in marketing with similar job responsibilities
Experience managing social media platforms is preferred
Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships is preferred
Post-secondary education is required; a bachelor degree in communications or marketing is preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent editing abilities and very detail oriented
Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office suite
You collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
You are consultative in nature and have the ability to establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders
You constantly ask what could go wrong and check for out-of-the-ordinary conditions and learn to anticipate potential problems
- This is a temporary position for a period of 14 months
