The Communications and Marketing department supports the achievement of priorities in SAIT's strategic plan, tells SAIT’s story, enhances our brand and executes on marketing strategy across SAIT, in collaboration with schools and departments. Reporting to the Director, Communications and Marketing, the Manager, Content and Creative Services will form a group of skilled individuals into a cohesive team, leading the creative development and implementation of institutional content and creative assets. You are able to create strong, strategic and collaborative relationships with internal clients, agency partners and suppliers. You possess a high degree of skill in interpreting information, synthesizing it for diverse audiences and applying strategic thinking to business priorities. Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes creative ads, photography, videography, publications and merchandising materials ensuring materials are aligned with the institution’s and division’s business needs and brand promise

  • Leads and consults team and divisions and divisional marketing plans, promotions and initiatives

  • Consults and advises on the development and execution of divisional marketing activities, ensuring that content and creative supports divisional marketing plans and align with SAIT’s goals and brand positioning

  • Manages the creative and content team by setting objectives, measuring performance, coaching and working with Communication and Marketing management on strategic objectives

  • Creates measurement metrics and reporting, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and negotiates and manages deliverables with partner agencies and suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing or communications or strategic design development

  • Minimum of 3 years’ related experience in a senior role, working with senior managers and managing a team and work processes - preferably in the communications, marketing or agency field

  • Understanding of Adobe design suite and creative and design process

  • Exceptional creative and strategic thinking, and outstanding knowledge of marketing fundamentals and principles and copywriting

  • Excellent verbal, written communications and critical thinking skills

  • Emotionally and politically astute

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple programs, projects and tasks, and re-prioritize on an ongoing basis
