We are currently seeking a Project Engineer, Intermediate to be seconded to an oil and gas site in Fort McMurray for 6 months, with the potential of the position being extended. Applicants living in the Fort McMurray area are preferred.
Provide project coordination and technical input required design of projects related to client’s non-process assets within an operating plant
Coordinate work within a multidiscipline team environment requiring exceptional communication and organizational skills
Produce sketches and provide engineering input to drafting
Provide technical support during construction phase of projects
Ensure all engineering work is performed in accordance with quality programs
Strengthen group technical abilities/mentor junior personnel
Ensure project budget and schedule with respect to deliverables is achieved
Monitor client satisfaction for work completed
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng) in Canada
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Buildings and/or Oil & Gas industry, preferably with an EPC in Western Canada
Experience with non-process asset (HVAC, cranes, etc.) design
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
