Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Sideboom Operator to be based at Kearl Oilsands, Alberta location.

This position will perform on heavy equipment . Responsible for understanding and following all operating policy and procedures while operating equipment.

May include the following responsibilities:

• Receives written and oral instructions from supervisor regarding materials to move or excavate.

• Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment.

• Reads and understands the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment.

• Properly maintains and services or has equipment serviced daily.

• Performs minor maintenance or clearing of tools and equipment

Camp accommodations are available for this position.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 or more years of related experience with Maintenance and Pipeline

  • Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) Certification required

  • First Aid - Standard Level Certification Required.
