This is an entry level role into the Procurement department.
Enter new vendors and pricing into our ERP systems.
Data entry and data manipulation in Excel in preparation for modeling and presentations.
Assist with analysis of current and future market activities and trends to support procurement decisions.
Assist in development of procurement documents such as RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, contracts and their related amendments.
You are a new, or recent, graduate in the field of chemcial engineering and are looking to build your negotiation, project management, and communication abilities. You are a skilled user of Microsoft Office, and ideally have some exposure to SAP and JDE. Your classmates would describe you as an extremely results-oriented team player whose organizational skills, willingness to learn, and initiative are second to none. You are not threatened by large personalities or stressful situations. You thrive under pressure, and come ready to learn how a world-class procurement team operates.
