The Opportunity Our Corunna, Ontario location is currently looking for a Tanker/Roll-Off Driver. This position is responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a Clean Harbors facility and/or an outside disposal facility.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
Drive unit to and from client sites;
Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment;
Responsible for the proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and TDGA Transport Canada requirements/regulations;
Responsible for maintaining daily logs, worksheets timecard, expense reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports;
Comply with Company and Health & Safety policies/procedures, Transport Canada, Reg 347, and TDGA requirements/regulations;
Maintain and clean assigned Company equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times.
Valid Class AZ license, with 2+ years driving experience and a clean 5 year Drivers Abstract;
Must possess a Fast Card;
Experience operating tankers and roll-offs preferred;
Previous experience hauling hazardous waste an asset;
