Responsabilités:

GCR Tires and Service, a division of Bridgestone Canada Inc., a company specializing in the service and sale of tires seeks a Tire Technician level 4 for its location at Dartmouth (42 Isnor Drive, Dartmouth, NS, B3B 1W3)

Position Summary

To service customers’ equipment by installing or repairing OTR tires.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Service all sizes of OTR and mining equipment tires.

  • Use specialized hydraulic equipment when changing customer tires.

  • Provide preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis on customers’ premises, inspect tires for wear, cuts, breaks, etc., and make appropriate recommendations to owner/operator, change tires and tubes, etc.

  • Observe need for services and opportunities to recommend additional purchase of tires, retreading, parts, or service work.

  • Maintain tools, equipment and service truck in efficient operating condition

  • Perform jobs using proper and safe procedures at all times.

  • Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • OTR tire repair and sales experience an asset.

  • HS. Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Valid Driver’s License w/safe driving record. Class 3 an asset.

  • Forklift Certification an asset.
