Job Description

Job Summary:

We are recruiting a Location Sales Manager

to join our team, with a primary objective of leading company sales

growth. This individual will be responsible

for working with seasoned inside and outside sales team to manage existing

account relationships, lead sales strategies, and bring in new customer

business and be able to work in a team environment.

We need an individual capable of

leading and contributing to sales growth through directed strategies,

management of sales activities and exceptional customer service. This opportunity is perfect for an

experienced sales professional with a proven track record in sales growth and

leading a team of sales reps and is looking for a new challenge. This position

has an expected out of town travel schedule covering key accounts in Fort

McMurray and Calgary area with a minimum

requirement of 25%.

Job duties

  • Developand execute strategic plan while following Alberta Project 704-71F annualbudget presentation and action plans to achieve sales targets and to expandthe company’s customer base

  • Monthlyaccount plan reviews with ISR and OSR

  • Dailycommunication with ISR and OSR’s

  • GuideOSR on call strategies

  • Continuousvendor interaction

  • Preparebudgets for territory, set up special pricing on bids and authorizeexpenditures on product samples and invoice adjustments, prepare andprovide reports as required

  • Achieveand exceed quarterly/annual sales targets within assigned territory andaccounts

  • Manageand be actively involved with the coaching, mentoring, career development,training, and performance management of Reps and be actively involved ininterviewing and hiring new Reps

  • Seekout new customers and sales opportunities; Perform cold calls andprospecting and travel with Reps to all location accounts

  • Takeownership of some critical EPCs and manage the supplier of choice programs

  • WorkClosely and in Sync with USA for Brand Positioning & Marketing Plan

  • Effectivelycommunicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

  • Buildand maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Obtaincontract pricing for customers and resolve customer complaints and issuesas required

Job Requirements:

Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, the

successful candidate for this position will possess:

Experience& Schooling:

  • Diploma ordegree in a related discipline

  • Minimum 5yearsexperience inmanaging and building successful sales teams

  • Experience with End-Users and/or EPC's

Job-specificknowledge:

  • Goodknowledge of wire and cable products

  • Microsoftoffice and Lotus Notes

  • Excellentability to communicate in English(written and spoken)
