The position of Wireline Pressure Control Coordinator ensures that our customers’ requirements are met or exceeded by maintaining a high standard of quality Pressure Controlequipment in the performance of well logging/perforating operations. With your professionalism, strong work ethic, leadership skills, you will help make Weatherford the preferred Wireline service company in Canada.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance of PCE for the Canadian region

  • Coordinator our Preventive Maintance schedule for PCE at all districts

  • Monitor our vendors during PCE re-certification that they are in compliance with our standards

  • Assist and participate in improving the Canadian Pressure Control services in all districts occupied by Weatherford Wireline

  • Participate in the 10K pressure training school

  • Work alongside of the Service Delivery and Specialty Managers when required to assist in services pertaining to daily operations

  • Tracking of all R/A sources and Iodine for the Specialty group and R/A storage. Completion of the RSO training will be required

  • Mentor the PCE operators so that they are providing excellent customer services

  • Create PCE & Rig up equipment replacement plans as per our asset useful life policy

  • Implement in house PCE recertification with our Weatherford pressure testing facility in Edmonton

  • Pre-job planning for all 10K PCE jobs

  • Servicing & Rebuilding Weatherford PCE when required

  • Training field crews on servicing all PCE at districts



  • Completion of Secondary School

  • Previous Cased Hole Wireline Experience

  • Extensive 10K pressure experience

  • Mechanical interest

  • Clean drivers abstract

  • Physically fit as lift equipment will be required

Working Environment: Office/Shop environment. May be required to travel to districts

Physical Demands: Bending, lifting, pushing: 50 lbs

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (available for after hours

calls when required)
