Job Overview

Reporting to the turnaround operations centre (TAOC) lead, you will be part of a team responsible for collecting, analyzing, and communicating the status of the turnaround safety and productivity solution (TSPS) metrics. You will support the planning, coordination and execution of TAOC activities that will enable the turnaround management to make timely informed decisions on safety and performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify improvement opportunities and develop and implement solutions based on data analysis that coincide with client expectations

  • Generate reports in a timely and clear manner to communicate information to various stakeholders

  • Communicate priorities, delegate responsibility, and hold yourself and others accountable for the resolution of issues

  • Support day-to-day activities for related services and act as the initial point of contact for issue escalation for management

Required Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Two or more years of experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Experience in analyzing data streams to identify trends and make recommendations

  • Post-secondary education and/or a trade ticket is an asset

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  • Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of oil and gas plants, equipment and facilities

  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint) and SAP

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, manage conflict and facilitate decision making processes to optimize outcomes

  • You hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same

Working Conditions

  • The shift schedule is a seven days on/seven days off rotation (seven days on, seven days off, seven nights on, seven nights off; 12 hour shifts)

  • If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory

  • Relocation support will be provided; we offer highly competitive housing assistance to eligible candidates
