Typical duties for a Reconciliation Specialists include: • Making sure guidelines and policies around cash processes are adequate and effective • Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers; • Reviewing the company's bank accounts, checks balances against ledger amounts and verifying that such amounts agree with financial statement items • General audit duties • Checking financial records • Writing procedures and other documentation • Developing sound policies for the management of the financial activities within the company

The ideal Reconciliation Specialist should have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Accounting Clerks generally have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and are working towards their designation. You must have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems and accounting software's.
