  • Job Title Account Manager, Sleep and RespiratoryLocation: Alberta Challenge As an Account Manager, your role will include developing and optimizing the sales of Sleep & Respiratory products to a defined number of accounts. You will have an in –depth understanding of the customer strategy and will be responsible to drive profitable high growth opportunities for Philips. Key areas of Responsibility

  • Coordinates all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary, will involve local sales force and marketing support.

  • Accountable for achieving budgeted sales volumes, prices and profit margin at a specified number of customers. Will be accountable for managing the sales orders.

  • Ensures continuity of the relationship with the accounts and operates at the highest level in the accounts’ organizations. Will also facilitate the executive level interfaces between the company and the accounts if necessary.

  • Creation of an account plan for each account for 2 years in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group. Prepare the annual account plan in line with the national account plan strategy.

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies.

  • Initiates and negotiates tailor made actions, discusses with customers about sales actions.

  • Creation and implementation of action programs for and with the accounts to improve the performance of Philips. Drive the performance of the functions in the account team to get it done.

  • Ensures availability of goods/deliverables in cooperation with order desk and logistics.

  • Systematically analyzing and reporting of sales results, expectation, market competition and trends. Skills and Experience areas of Responsibility

  • Professional knowledge and experience in the use of relevant marketing and sales techniques

  • Bachelor’s degree (Science preferred) with 5 years of related experience

  • Strong business acumen, basic understanding of finance

  • Independent negotiations with customers, within given guidelines and sales plan
