Morrison Hershfield Marketing Coordinator in Markham, Ontario

Morrison Hershfield, a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support its horizontal and vertical infrastructure business. This position will coordinate the execution of marketing plans for various technical practices. Working as a key member of the marketing and sales team, this position will act as a primary interface between marketing and the sales and operations teams. A strong project management skillset is required to plan, manage, and execute the marketing program against multiple project schedules in Canada and the U.S.

  • Coordinate and execute elements of service line marketing plans;

  • Review online bid sites daily, conduct high-level scope review, distribute opportunities to appropriate staff;

  • Schedule, track and complete production of qualifications packages and proposals to meet tight deadlines;

  • Develop, edit, and proof a variety of marketing collateral including blog posts, proposal content, project sheets, resumes, award submittals, brochures, and presentations to ensure content is comprehensive, competitive and aligned with brand standards. Researching clients, trends and background information; and

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to help define and develop core messages and value propositions.

  • Assist in the development of video based messaging for internal and external communications.

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pace, high-pressure environment;

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills; and

  • Desktop publishing capabilities with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop tools.

  • A degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience, preferably in related B2B or Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.

  • Familiarity with the A/E/C industry including relevant trade organizations, publications, conference and events.

  • Demonstrable versatility and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Graphics Suite.

  • Preference given to candidates with experience managing varying service lines through multiple channels of business under singular company brand.

  • This position will be located in our Toronto office.
