The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s performance tracking and management system using and integrating multiple data sources including CRM, ERP, and vendor data. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, the incumbent will work closely to support Sales Operations and Business Intelligence Corporate Leads.
The incumbent will leverage their experience and technical skills to support commercial planning, project enablement and analytics for the division. A key objective of this role is to provide actionable insight regarding the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and the performance of the commercial organization.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Responsible for development and on-time reporting of performance scorecards and relevant metrics
Evaluates financial alternatives, cost benefit analysis and business case preparation for business unit
Monitor, track, and analyze trends and perform ad-hoc analysis to identify strategic business opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
Liaising with finance staff to provide support for business planning and operations through development of budget estimates, variance analysis, performance measures, administrative reviews
Work with Business operations colleagues, product managers and finance teams to help assess vendor performance through analytical insights
Provide input into the patient support programs, analyze vendor performance programs and work with the commercial teams to support long range program planning
Support inventory projections and analytics, including international supply coordination for travelling patients
Inventory, Sales and Product Forecasting:
Work with demand planners to ensure that corporate reporting and demand forecasting system is kept current
Work with product managers and provide insights on the completion of detailed market models
Work with product managers to establish accurate operational forecasts
- Support the operations team on data reporting from the CRM master data tool
Education and Experience:
1-3 years of business operations or analytics including:
Financial modeling and analytics
University degree in Business, Finance, Statistics or Economics
Excellent people and communication skills, ability to operate in a cross cultural and complex matrix environment, and ability to build consensus across functions
Analytical and forward thinker, results oriented, self-organized and self-starter
Familiarity in working with complex data sets
Strong customer-service skills and orientation
Hands on with an attention to detail and timelines
Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a broad team
Advanced computer skills including expert proficiency in Excel (macro, programming), and database management
