Tech Data - US Business Develpment Manager-HPI in Mississauga, Ontario
The Business Development Manager works in cooperation with Tech Data’s Sales, Marketing & Purchasing organizations to serve as Tech Data’s expert on the HPI product line - pointed towards increasing Tech Data’s share with targeted accounts. The Business Development Manager has the responsibility of driving HPI product revenue at Tech Data - through developing strong relationships with targeted Business Partners, HPI and Tech Data’s Sales organization.
This position oversees activities related to account development, product line and program training specific to Business Partners’ needs. The BDM will ultimately be responsible for enhancing Business Partner satisfaction, fostering growth with the HPI product line for Tech Data.
The BDM will liaison with Tech Data’s purchasing organization, ensuring sufficient supply of HPI products to maximize fill rates. The BDM is positioned to be a key contact point for HPI within Tech Data, and will liaison to other departments in the company. Co-operation with key stakeholders in all departments will be a critical factor in the success of this role. The successful candidate must ensure timely responsiveness to internal and external requests, requiring strong multi-tasking and prioritization skill set.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required
Develop and Build a strong relationship with identified Business Partners and Tech Data’s Sales team.
Drive HPI revenue through Tech Data’s Sales organization and direct customer contacts.
Create and implement account specific business plans.
Provide Business Partner training for sales reps and clients alike.
Maintain expertise on HPI products, programs, competition and market.
Travel will be required to Business Partners across Canada and to HPI specific events.
Monitor competitive pricing in the market and recommend sku level pricing.
Management of available rebates from vendor.
Develop, update and present business reviews.
Quarterly forecasting of revenue, margin and inventory.
Liaison with Tech Data’s purchasing organization, ensuring sufficient supply of HPI products.
Negotiate with vendor for allocation of product to support market demand.
Communicate product transition and road maps in support of sales cycles.

Billingual in French considered an asset.
