We are currently looking for Consultant I to join our Managed Services Group department in Mississauga, Canada.


The Consultant I – MS will support the Forsythe IT customer by providing problem resolution for security and/or network products on-site or in cloud for more complex issues. This role will identify key information necessary to resolve the customer’s issue. The Consultant I will engage other team member, escalate to respective vendor when required, and provide the resolution within specified timelines. The Consultant I will be responsible to manage security and/or network products on Client’s premises or in cloud.


  • Obtain necessary information from end-users and register this in support requests in an efficient, accurate and complete fashion. Resolve as many support requests as possible within the limitations of his/her access rights and time constraints.

  • Remotely monitor the status of network and/or security devices. Proactively solve issues and escalate more complex resolutions to appropriate team members. Report status to Forsythe clients.

  • Monitor the ticketing queue and work on tickets meeting defined SLAs.

  • Follow established processes and adopted standards, for example, ITIL, ISO 27001 and update the processes as required.

  • Maintain existing certifications and obtain new certification.

  • Prepare documentation, knowledge articles.

Additional Duties:

  • Security is every employee’s responsibility, if you are aware of a security related vulnerability or non-compliance with the Forsythe Information Security Policy or Employee Handbook you must report it to the Corporate Security Team, Human Resources, or a member of Senior Management.

  • Participate at hire and annually in the Information Security Awareness training as well as other required training identified by the Human Resources department. HIPAA or other regulatory training may be required based on your role or assignment.

Required Skills

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to implement and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure systems and configurations in the designated practice using procedures, scripts, and templates.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high level of Customer Satisfaction on all consulting engagements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Good Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint skills

  • Ability to acquire technical skills and problem solving

  • Ability to investigate problems and utilize problem solving techniques.

  • Ability to work as a team player in a consulting environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and trust to secure future business.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high level of Customer Satisfaction on all consulting engagements.


  • At least one technical certifications in the designated Forsythe practice is required, for example CCSE, CCNP, JNCSP, SFCP.

  • ITIL Foundations


  • College or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology related field, preferred.

Required Experience


  • 3+ years of IT infrastructure technical implementation experience required, including:

  • Direct system engineering or support experience involving the delivery of hardware, software and services solutions at an enterprise level for at least one product line in the designated Forsythe practice

  • Direct involvement in working with internal and external teams to implement and troubleshoot complex configuration hardware, software and services

  • Deep matter expert skill set in at least one of supported technologies or familiar with at least one more supported technology.


  • Ability to travel up to 10% nationwide.
