ARI has an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Client Relations based in our Mississauga Location.

The Director of Client Relations is responsible for the complete oversight and performance of the Canadian Relations team. This includes driving the development and delivery of service excellence to ARI clients with a clear focus on client retention. Leading and monitoring strategies for service delivery and departmental efficiency are key to this role. This position requires the ability to acquire, develop and retain talent, while supporting employee growth and opportunity within the department and all ARI operating companies. The incumbent supports the accomplishment of strategic objectives that promote the value of customer service and the growth of sales and profits. Leadership, strategic thinking, foresight and execution are important elements in performing this role.

What will you do?

  • Drive customer service excellence through the department while supporting the needs of the customers, Strategic Account Management and Sales Teams

  • Lead client specific strategies that support client satisfaction, retention and deliver value

  • Ensure client needs and expectations are effectively communicated internally

  • Support the growth of the Canadian business including meeting with clients, prospects and attending ARI and industry events.

  • Mentor and develop your team members for future career growth

  • Partner with internal departments to streamline procedures, trimming inefficiencies

  • Maintain a current knowledge of customer service strategies, company objectives, products and services

  • Assess and participate in all new ARI initiatives, including understanding the impact to clients, execution in the department and communication internally and externally.

  • Work closely with the Director of Strategic Account Management to ensure open and clear communication, with aligned strategies for service delivery and client/staff communications

  • Provide specific, timely feedback in response to internal and external inquiries and/or complaints

  • Work closely with US counterparts to align process and deliverables where possible

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in business or related fields

  • 5+ year’s relevant experience with a proven track record of strong team leadership

  • 5+ years management experience

  • Proven people management skills

  • Proven track record of developing and mentoring high potential staff

  • Ability to grow with position as department and company evolves

  • Client service acumen
