Now, if you were to come on board as ourDiversity and Inclusion Coordinator,we-d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Lead the Employment Equity process and ensure 100% completion for new hires each month

  • Enter Employment Equity results into WIEMS for the Federal Contractors Program (FCP)

  • Implement short- and long-term goals based on the FCP workforce analysis

  • Follow-up on all Employment Equity Action Plan activities and monitor impact to results

  • Lead presentation on Diversity & Inclusion for all New Manager Orientations

  • Ensure compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

  • Deliver programs and communications identified in the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy

  • Assist with the roll out and follow-up of Your Voice, the employee engagement survey

  • Create presentations to communicate important metrics related to diversity and inclusion

  • Identify new ways to reinforce our commitment to diversity and inclusion

  • Support talent acquisition as needed

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on Human Resources

  • Minimum of one-year experience in HR or diversity and inclusion (practical or academic)

  • Familiar with Employment Equity legislation and AODA

  • Achieves results in high-pressure and fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels in the organization including senior executives

  • Exceptional follow up skills and attention to details

  • Ability to course correct when faced with obstacles or challenges

  • Outstanding time management and strong organizational skills
