The Opportunity: Developing Accelerated Retail Experience. The Developing Accelerated Retail Experience (DARE) program is a one- year, exclusive retail program for a small, select group of recent graduates. You will work in a number of different roles within eight core areas of Walmart Canada (merchandising, eCommerce, marketing, merchandise planning, space planning, replenishment, logistics and store operations) as well as learn about many others through presentations, workshops and personal mentorship. DARE is designed for hard workers who want to discover the inner workings of one of the world’s most successful companies. You will capture a ‘big picture’ understanding of Walmart, including the strategies that are the framework of our competitive advantage and the day-to-day actions that drive our success. Your experiences will put you in a great position to take on a variety of roles within Walmart. How is the Developing Accelerated Retail Experience different? 1. Hands-on. Fast-paced learning.
During this one year program you will gain practical experience through rotations in these areas: Merchandising eCommerce Marketing Logistics (including transportation and distribution centres) Merchandise Planning Space Planning Store Operations Replenishment

During your time at Walmart Canada home office, you will experience workshops and presentations from many areas of the business such as real estate, finance, marketing and corporate affairs
You will be paired with a personal mentor at the senior leadership level, providing in-depth, face-to-face learning from leaders in Canadian retail 3. Finish the program. Start a career.
In completing the one-year program, you will develop a breadth of experience rare to those just entering the retail industry; valuable to us as an employer
