Tech Data - US Software Licensing Analyst in Mississauga, Ontario

This role is divided into 2 parts:

  • Software licensing selector maintenance: files for very software vendor must be uploaded into this tool monthly. Without these updates SLS will not configure the correct licensing

  • License Administrator: requires qualifying orders, placing PO’s and owning the order until invoice with the goal of order quality and efficiency

Maintain SLS Files 50%

Liaise with US IT for updates/corrections to licensing rules 10%

Order Processing 40%

  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Previous Work Experience:

  • 1 year relevant work experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel - Mandatory -high capacity use of Excel; ability to run macros, pivot tables & v-lookup; manage a large of amount of data; importing of external data; ability to use multiple filters and tables; use of advanced formulas

  • Analytical- Ability to work with database/tool teams to resolve and make improvements.

  • Troubleshooting-ability to determine what database fields drive specific features in the associated tools, in order to determine what needs to be corrected when there is a tool performance issue or inquiry.

Education/Certification:

  • College Diploma

  • Advanced level in Microsoft Excel, specifically running queries and V-Lookups and H-Lookups.

  • Independent decision making ability –determine priority & frequency file loading, modification of rules, when to cancel or modify PO’s.

  • Possesses strong organizational, time management, clerical and data entry skills, able to executive
