Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Analyst with skills in Application Development Processes. Business Analysts in this job role have expertise in analysis and description of business processes, and their translation into functional and non-functional IT requirements. They act as the interpreters between the worlds of IT and business. Typical examples of the deliverables are functional and non-functional requirements, use-cases, process models, and impact analysis. This role primarily applies technical and business process skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.Role Description: This role provides ownership and oversight of all process development, improvement, and implementation of Software Process Improvement (SPI) based on the CMM framework. Responsibilities include:

  • A key responsibility of this group is to monitor process metrics to identify either problem areas or identify opportunities for process improvement;

  • Responsibility for staffing the SEPG team and providing direction in applying the Process Change Method (PCM) for the account and in training the delivery team;

  • Training the delivery team, beginning the implementation, acting as process owner for changes and updates, and planning/leading the IBM tasks of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) CMM-based assessment;

  • Engaging ADE to perform an effectiveness study when funded and appropriate.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Working background of 5 years or more with IT solutions in complex manufacturing industries (preferable aerospace);

  • Familiar with Business Process analysis and design

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio)
