Accountabilities:· 24/7/365 Rotation On Call CICS technical support with SIS, clients, and third party vendors· Ensures CICS regions, performance issues are resolved and optimum performance sub-seconds transaction services are provided· Performs analysis, problem-solving and evaluation activities on special technical topics related to project/engagement/proposal objectives· Install, administrator and maintenance CICS regions in a complex environment· Maintain CICS Security standards and audit compliance including documentation· CICS operational roles such as change and security implementation and management for the SIS environment, security incident response etc.· Performance analysis and management· Problem determination to the lowest level, including dump analysis .. etc· SIS CICS subject matter expert for SIS CICS related at a technical level including related SIS application support· Coordinates design and implementation of disaster recovery plan and procedures for SIS CICS environment· Review Client's Statement of Work / Contract for CICS Related Components· Co-ordinates design and implementation of disaster recovery plans and procedures· CICS regions design, costing and implementation based on analytical skills and business knowledge.· Consulting with application departments on anything CICS related project.You will be working with the CICS Support Team.APCCA
• 5 years experience in CICS Adminstratoin and System Programming (install/upgrade, patching, performing issues, configuration of CICS regions)• Proven knowledge of CICS, CICSplex and SMP/E• Experience working with: Cobol / Assembler, VSAM, JCL, CA-Top Secret / RACF, CA-Intertest, IPCS, CICS Performance Analyzer, IBM Utilities and DB2, diagnostic tools such as Omegamon for CICS• Proficiency in using TSO/ISPF including dataset creation and manipulation, OPC/TWS and JCL• Skilled at troubleshooting problems in a CICS environment.• Proven dump analysis skills using IPCS• COBOL, C and REXX programming skills• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.• Professional oral and written communication skills.• Demonstrated customer service skills.
