Purpose & Objective of Position

Being part of Product and Innovation organization you will be placed on a strategic project in the Marketing Planning area. The project is a part of Customer Engagement and Commerce Suite of solution and focuses on providing a high performant HANA based solution with super intuitive graphical HTML5 based UI, and integration with collaboration platform.

We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated and passionate about Software development and who are eager to be part of a self-organizing, young and dynamic team. You will be part of a team that is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, quality assurance and ramp-up support for our customers.

Expectations & Tasks

As a software developer you will be working in a team of experienced colleagues. Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Design and develop software

  • Implement new functionalities

  • Support our customers (error analysis and correction)

  • Deliver high quality output by implementing QA activities (e.g unit test, integration test, test automation, test driven development)

  • Participate as a member of Agile (SCRUM) development team

  • Demonstrate flexibility to take on additional tasks

Skills / Competencies

  • Knowledge of JavaScript

  • Knowledge of HTML5

  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming

  • Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML)

  • Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Eclipse is an asset

  • Knowledge of SAP UI5 is an asset

  • Knowledge of Enterprise business process development is an asset

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to learn and drive topics to their completion

  • Team player

Educational Requirements (degrees, class completion, etc.)

  • Undergrad, Master student, or new graduate

  • Software engineering, Computer engineering or Computing Science
