POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a true HR Business Partner role that will provide world-class Business Partnership to AmerisourceBergen Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing development and leadership to Management and associates, as well as proactive HR service to their business area(s), helping to create, deliver and implement a people strategy that will drive the achievement of the Group's growth strategy through maximizing associate engagement. Reporting to the Senior HRBP and working with the OE & Talent and Shared Services Centre’s Of Excellence (COE) to ensure that HR interventions are commercially driven, however you need to balance the needs of the regional business with the overall global HR strategy.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organizational Design – ensure the structure of your business area is appropriate to deliver against the business strategy Identify opportunities for efficiency and change and facilitate the formulation of change plans from a HR perspective Anticipate and understand the recruitment needs of your business – talent identification, retention, career development and succession planning Work with OE & Talent and Shared Services COE to ensure associate commitment, associate capabilities and total reward programs and practices drive your Business and Associate objectives Leadership - coach and build leadership and talent within your business Merger & Acquisition experience, including integration, and change management Facilitate /co-ordinate learning events and work with subject matter expert (SME) Employee Relations – ensure risks are identified and that business plans adhere to HR related legislation Qualifications: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Your exceptional relationship building skills and ability to influence coupled with your strong business acumen and customer service orientation will ensure the associate engagement and business goals of the organization are met. In addition, you will have:

A business degree and/or relevant HR professional certification Demonstrated success in using business insights to drive change in people and organizational management practices Demonstrated strategic focus with expertise at linking short and long term business needs to Associate talent and engagement strategies Experienced in coaching and having experience as a trusted advisor to Management and associates. Demonstrated success in organization and people capability building Proficient technical expertise in the following areas: workforce planning, human resources strategic planning, talent management, succession planning, web based media sourcing, and compensation administration Outstanding relationship and interpersonal skills, with proven influencing skills at all levels of the organization Mature presentation and professional communication style, to win trust and credibility at all levels of the organization Highly responsive with an ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast paced, complex business environment Familiarity with project management, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Some travel required Bilingual (English/French) is an asset MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
