- 4 years honours degree from an accredited institution preferably in Business
- Minimum 5 years in sales environment with chain account experience.

The Eastern Canadian Retail & Chain Account Manager is based in Oakville, ON and is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with some of the largest chains in Canada. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned Ontario based chain and eastern Canadian retail accounts from forecasting to delivering profits. Reporting to the Eastern Canadian District Manager, the individual will work internally with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations to assist in growing the Chain Account business and developing new business. The successful candidate will have a talent for building and influencing relationships throughout the customer’s organization. Possessing a customer service focus with a bias for execution will be essential in this highly competitive market space.
Reporting to the Eastern Canadian District Manager the individual will work internally with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Sales and Finance. Will Coordinate company executive involvement with customer management. Close working relationships with Customer Service are required to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Management of the total account including achieving profit and volume targets. Building relationships to develop and support a comprehensive understanding of the account, their current needs and future business development plans. Coordinate the involvement of company personnel including support, service and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations. 45%
Proactively researches the market, developing new potential accounts and presenting to management with a clear and comprehensive understanding of the customer’s needs, fit with organizational objectives and probability of success. 25%
Administrative duties relating to the ongoing support of customers including use of company forecasting and relationship management tools. 15%
Representation of Bunge at trade shows, industry functions, remaining current with developments in the industry through industry interaction, industry publications, and other gatherings as deemed appropriate for development of industry intelligence. 10%
