At TELUS, we’re looking for a talented and competitive Account Manger that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. As part of the Business Solutions Sales team in the Small & Medium Business sector, you represent the TELUS brand, values & promise, play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must have fun and be really comfortable making a lot of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Achieves quota expectations, through cold calling, networking and other creative prospecting methods to build a qualified pipeline of customers
Be curious: Research accounts, Identify key player at targeted companies and conduct research for a well-informed initial contact and generate interest
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Perform effective online demos to prospects
Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs
Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Able to work independently with a proven track record of over achieving sales goals
Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to prioritise, and manage time effectively Possess the ability to effectively manage time and carry out multiple tasks together within a period
At least 2-3 year of prospecting experience
- A bachelor’s degree
