Telus Customer Implementation Manager I in ON, Canada

Position Overview:

TNAC (TELUS National Assignment Centre) is the primary liaison between Sales and TELUS Downstream teams. TNAC evaluates Service requests and determines the best overall costing solution to deliver Onnet or Offnet DATA circuits.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the overall solution along with costing to be proposed associated with the Mainstream and IP product and co-ordinate with other teams (Sales/Care, Pre-Design, Planning) for gathering inputs and/or dependencies for completing the solution

  • Giving customized solution for customer’s specific requirements (non-standard solution)

  • To deal with 3rd party Service Provider like BELL Canada, Rogers, Cogeco, Wire IE, and Aliant for last mile access for TELUS

  • To provide pre-sales support (to Sales teams, Customer Solutions Engineers, and others) on the Design options and preferences

  • To provide assignments to Transport Design (Private Line, WAN) and IP design (WAN, FR) teams for Low speed (56Kbps -1.5Mbps) and High speed (2Mbps-1 GiGE)

Required Knowledge:

  • Technical knowledge (TELUS infrastructure, major TELUS CPS & MPS products & services, basics of mainstream and enhanced data services) (Working knowledge)

  • Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. Telecom markets and service providers (Intermediate)

  • Knowledge of telephony/IP products to support customer requirements (Enterprise/Government/Small-Medium/Business)

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, problem solving, project management, negotiation, communication and analytical skills

  • Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills interacting with both non-Executive and Executive level internal and external stakeholders

  • Must be “goal” oriented with an ability to prioritize and multi-task work in an environment with minimal supervision

  • Proficient with the use of MS Office

  • Understand the details of service provided by upstream (care) in FOX

  • Co-ordinate with different TELUS teams when there is an escalation as TNAC is aware of end to end customer delivery

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Post-secondary diploma/certification

  • CCNA and or PMI Certifications would be an asset but not required

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of equivalent experience

  • Ability to work in both a technical and non-technical environment
