Telus Manager - Quality Assurance Management in ON, Canada
As a key team member, the UAT Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the User Acceptance Testing team and the interactions with the Development, QA and client representatives. The UAT Manager must have a proven track record of functional or business testing. The candidate must have complete understanding of the processes associated with testing and delivery of software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
Managing a Quality Assurance team, providing feedback and training where necessary, conducting performance reviews, assisting with recruitment and selection and dealing with any issues within the team
Planning, scheduling, assigning and tracking project work for multiple concurrent projects & products
Responsible for project communication with all stakeholders and interested parties
Reviewing and approving major test and quality approach for the products and projects
Ensuring the implementation of the current process and proposing changes to the process where there is a gap
Software Project management methodologies, principles and practices
Demonstrated Large System Performance Testing
Required Skills & Abilities:
Organizational and time management skills
Expert understanding of Microsoft Project
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels
Quality Center, MS Project, Sharepoint
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
- University Degree in Computer Science or related educational background and, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management and leadership position
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst position
