Telus Marketing Manager, Campaign Performance & Agency Go-to-Market in ON, Canada

Position Overview:

Brand & Customer Experience Marketing (B&E) is looking for a Marketing Manager, Agency GTM & Campaign Performance. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, you’ll join a dynamic and fast-paced team that helps manage the agency relationships and campaign performance through internal processes, measurements, budgeting and scorecards. This role drives campaign accountability and structure, with the focus split between process management and campaign optimization. The right candidate for this role is a productive self-starter, highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities. Prior experience or knowledge of marketing communications campaigns on client or agency side is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with campaign leads and consult the measurement insights team and agency measurement primes to:

o /Pre-Agency Brief:/Clearly define the measurement recommendations/KPI’s for campaigns, allowing for clear objectives and analysis

o /Pre-Agency Brief:/Present defined campaign measurements and KPI’s to B&E director team to gain alignment allowing for an agency brief to be created

o /Post-Campaign:/Manage and ensure timely completion of campaign analysis including any future recommendations, as well as share analysis with stakeholder teams (i.e. Product GTM team)

  • Support the marketing communications works stream by leading the internal campaign governance process/forum; allowing for stronger operational integration and alignment with agency partners:

o Work directly with senior management to facilitate approvals

o Be the subject matter experts for peers across the organization and agency partners regarding the forum

o Facilitate and implement all aspects of the meeting; agendas, documentation, and other admin tasks

o Proactively identify and operationalize process optimizations and changes

o Lead and manage weekly meeting

o Communicate, present and gain alignment for process/forum updates to stakeholders across the organization as required

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across the B&E and Product Marketing to provide guidance and counsel regarding the annual planning process

  • Develop and distribute weekly reporting that tracks ongoing campaign performance and to ensure success against stated KPI’s

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of Google for Work programs an asset

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Highly organized and detailed oriented

  • Proven ability to manage processes

  • Creativity and problem solving ability to overcome unexpected obstacles

  • Ability to drive self-directed initiatives – proactively identify when it’s necessary to take certain steps and move ahead with confidence

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in marketing communications, campaign measurement or analysis

  • Experience working with agencies and Marketing Communications teams an asset

  • Understanding of marketing vehicles, tactics and mediums across owned and paid channels

  • Some familiarity with campaign measurement or market research

  • Experience developing and implementing business improvement solutions and pushing forward processes
