The Koodo Value Management team is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to manage our customer base ARPU and contra (credits given back to customers) portfolios. This individual will be instrumental in driving EBITDA growth by providing greater clarity and tracking of ARPU movement driven by customer base management (CBM) activities and contra variances.
A key outcome would be to leverage insights/analytics to influence and create marketing strategies that will drive revenue growth and address contra variances both proactively (direct to consumer) and/or reactively (agent related).
The ideal candidate would be a natural leader and able to work deftly and confidently with multiple stakeholders across different business units and levels to ensure alignment on these key metrics.
The candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of customer base dynamics with the ability to identify value creating opportunities. In addition, being able to understand financial metrics, being analytically astute with a desire to dig deeper and investigate beyond the obvious would be skills to help succeed in this role.

Track and report on customer base ARPU trending, variances and impacts from marketing activities driven by the CBM team; working closely with the team to understand initiatives, reasons and drivers
Track and report on contra trending, variances and impacts from various marketing and CE programs; working with multiple stakeholders to align and ensure consistency of reasons and drivers
Work closely with the business intelligence team on ARPU and contra forecasting and budgeting
Create and present reports to explain variances, opportunities and any other issues
Initiate and interpret analytics around ARPU and contra to identify opportunities for further improvements in reporting and marketing activities, ensuring business needs are met
Engage multiple stakeholders, such as CE and L&R ops teams, to develop programs/processes to manage and proactively limit contra
Building out future strategies on BCA (Balanced cost analysis) to improve profitability
Track, measure and positively influence the BCA/agent metric while working collaboratively with the CE team
Build presentations for senior executive audiences to provide updates and explain KPI results on behalf of the CBM team
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrate influence and strategy skills; planning, budget management, variance reporting; root cause analysis
Proven ability to understand and make strategic recommendations for gap closure initiatives
Able to articulate and confidently present ideas and reports to audiences ranging from senior executives to peers
Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders that enable successfully co-creating initiatives to yield positive outcomes to the business
Demonstrated ability to identify, interpret and present data in cohesive and concise “so what business story”
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and programs efficiently at the same time
Demonstrated ability to understand impacts of pricing and customer base management activities
Excellent attention to detail, structured approach to analysis
Ability to think through issues from an end to end perspective
Knowledge in SQL is an asset but not required
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
- University degree (With courses in Marketing/Marketing analytics/Accounting/Basic financials)
Experience in working/interacting with client care and channel
Background knowledge/experience in Marketing
