BMO Financial Group Area Manager Specialized Sales (Greater Toronto Division) in Ontario, Canada

Description:

Accountable to provide organizational leadership to the Divisional B2B team through:

  • Establishing priorities and leading subordinates in the development of business, sales and service, and people strategies within the Divisional B2B context and prescribed limits.

  • Ensuring optimal alignment of specialized B2B strategies (mortgages) and Divisional sales strategies within the Division.

  • Maintaining effective communication within the Divisional team.

  • Leading major change initiatives in support of B2B business strategies and ensuring the successful implementation of Division/PCCG-wide change initiatives within the Divisional B2B team.

Accountable for the strategic positioning of the Divisional B2B over a 2-3 year time frame, including:

- Maximizing the growth and profitability of the Divisional B2B teams and the District teams they support (both short-term and long-term) through the development, implementation, review and recommendation of revisions to the District B2B sales and service plans (including all related investment, technological, and talent pool strategies and plans) in a 2-3 year time frame to ensure the delivery of comprehensive banking solutions that address the customer needs of the Divisional B2B market.

  • Ensuring the effective delivery of B2B sales and service initiatives and programs through establishing the sales and service context, setting direction for subordinates, and ensuring approved business objectives and targets of subordinates are achieved.

  • Optimizing available resources, including making required trade-off decisions pertaining to deployment of resources and creating sound business cases to request additional resources from the Senior Vice-President, Sales & Service Division.

Accountable to ensure compliance with overall Bank and regulatory policies and guidelines, including national standards, by confirming that all Policies and Procedures are adhered to within the Divisional B2B team.
