Job Description:

The position of Business Development Representative – Canada, is designed to help TargetCW sell our services directly to companies in Canada. As a member of TCW Services Canada’s Business Development team, you will be accountable for proactively developing leads from Prospect to Client. This will involve researching and identifying leads, cold calling/emailing, setting appointments and closing … a hunter role that is both challenging and consultative. On-going account maintenance is handled by our international team, but you will still be responsible to check and cultivate referrals.

The candidate will first spend time with our international team to develop knowledge of our Canada products and services. Once this training is complete, you will act as the Remote Branch of TCW Services Canada, selling payrolling/contingent labor services to local companies in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead identification, generation and cold call with full cycle selling

  • Understand the culture and language of the country he or she is selling in

  • Build and maintain relationships with Prospects and Clients through written/verbal communication

  • Have a strong entrepreneurial drive to establish a presence with minimal supervision

  • Develop a pipeline of prospective business

  • Cold-calling 60 prospects per day

  • Close new business

  • Develop deep knowledge of our products and services and a command of industry vernacular and concepts

Required Skills:

  • Stamina and drive to make your required cold calls

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the internet… if you can’t use the internet, this might not be a good job for you

  • Sense of humor and resilience

  • Proven track record in long cycle, service sales is highly recommended

  • Networking, relationship management, CRM, LinkedIn, social media prowess

Compensation: We anticipate converting the Business Development Representative to full commission on the business processed through TCW Services Canada.
