National Bank Financial Group Implementation and Learning Consultant in Ontario
Title: Implementation and Learning Consultant Location: ON
Reporting to the Manager, Business Implementation, the Implementation and Learning Consultant supports our strategic objectives. This includes enhancing the client experience and organizational capability through the seamless onboarding of new clients, and the design, development and implementation of effective learning solutions for NBCN clients and employees.
Learning Design, Development & Facilitation
Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts, Business Development, Relationship Managers and Service Delivery Teams to design and develop appropriate learning solutions aligning to business needs.
End to end design and development of programs, courses or modules for self study, webinars, classroom and e-learning channels.
Identify opportunities to leverage and enhance existing learning resources for cost and time savings.
Facilitate webinars and classroom sessions to clients and employees.
Implement evaluation process and monitor results to determine overall client and business impact of implemented solutions.
Provides administrative support for classroom training, including securing venue, printing training materials and room setup.
Manages relationships and provide expertise, counsel and direction on products and services to internal and/or external audiences.
Implement standardized procedures via documentation and training
Manages new client implementations and transitions
Identify existing and potential client issues and recommend initiatives or projects to resolve the issues both in a reactive and proactive manner
Manages implementations related to new funds and updated pricing
Manages learning projects through various phases of design (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) and delivery
Supports administration of the strategic learning program, including updating course calendar, registration sites, tracking and reporting.
Demonstrate strong communication skills through developing clear, concise internal and external communications in accordance to NBCN policies
Demonstrate strong influence skills with the ability to work effectively to monitor, track and expedite action required for project deliverables
Cooperate with other groups in planning and executing key initiatives, and integrating delivery with the NBCN team
Liaise with Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Risk, and other partners on implementation related items
Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience in adult learning or training development.
Professional experience in designing, developing and implementing formal and informal learning solutions and projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency delivering complex qualitative and quantitative information with clarity and precision.
Professional experience in presentation and or facilitation of classroom training.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative thinker that takes initiatives.
Embraces change and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Be self-motivated, customer-oriented and be able to work well both independently and within a team.
Proficient user of MS Office: Word, Excel and Power Point with working knowledge of Cisco WebEx, Adobe Captivate and Prezi an asset.
Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct Practice Handbook (CPH) is an asset. Applicants without the CSC must complete it within 6 months.
Bilingualism is an asset.
