Payroll Clerk

Reporting to the Mine Controller, the Payroll Clerk’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to review of time and attendance, preparation of payroll inputs/adjustments for processing, reconciliation of payroll accounts, processing of new employees, terminations, transfers and promotions, resolving employee inquiries, and other duties as assigned.

  • 3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or administrationStrong interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills;

  • Strong organization and time management skills.

  • Strong computer skills (particularly Microsoft Excel) and proficiency with payroll software is an asset;
