Title: Project Leader, Business Solutions Group, National Bank Correspondent Network Location: ON

We are looking for a responsible individual to join the team as a Project Leader, reporting to the Manager of the Strategic Initiatives Group. The Project Leader will administer and organize project and initiative activities in cooperation with the Strategic Initiatives Group and related project sponsors.

In addition to working with Data Intelligence team, the candidate’s main objective is the flawless execution of the new projects and initiatives within the Business Solutions team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities, resources, and information related to projects and new initiatives;

  • Liaise with business analysis and sponsors to identify and define project/ initiative requirements, scope and objectives;

  • Make certain that sponsors’ needs are met as the project evolve;

  • Assist in preparing project proposals, timeframes, and schedule;

  • Monitor and track project’s progress and advise were issues may arise;

  • Assist in bridging gap between Strategic Initiatives Group and Business Intelligence Team and other internal parties, product, service teams, etc.;

  • Report and escalate to management as needed;

  • Create and maintain comprehensive global project documentation, plans and reports;

  • Attend meetings should the business analysis not be available;

  • Coordinate and assist in submission of project/ initiative closeout documentation;

  • Bacherlor’s degree in a related field or equivalent;

  • 5 years of experience within wealth management related field;

  • Previous experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects is an asset;

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools;

  • Good working knowledge of business intelligence / analysis tools;

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment;

  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities;

  • CAPM or PMP certification is an asset.
