The Manager, ION Business Operations provides strategic and tactical leadership and coordination to the ION leadership team. S/he works directly with the Senior Leadership Team and is a key contributor to the achievement of organizational strategic goals. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day liaison with ION stakeholders to ensure lines of communication remain open. This position requires a very hands-on, versatile person who is able to provide strategic leadership to deliver exceptional service.
Apply sound knowledge of ION business and industry landscape
Work with SLT and ION managers and teams to produce outstanding internal & external customer service
Connect the dots between ION strategy and execution with day-to-day activities
Conduct ongoing evaluation on effectiveness of channels of communication against firm metrics and redirect as required
Implement effective processes and/or procedures to enable leadership to focus on key market, quality, talent and financial requirements
Inspire ION professionals to work to their highest capabilities in order to provide exceptional customer service while holding the team accountable for results
Conduct and/or attend meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency
Ensure team member competence through coaching, and routine and effective communication
Proactively seek out internal and external opportunities to build networks
Create a culture that encourages and recognizes individual and team achievements to promote engagement and retention of top talent
Identify, select and manage suitable service providers for various contracted services.
Review and approve invoices for expenses up to specified threshold.
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, PR, Social Media or Marketing or other business fields.
Fluency in English. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Experience with social media in corporate environment.
Well organized with proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Can work both independently and as a part of a team.
Creativity and willingness to bring in new perspectives and ideas to the business.
