Our Ottawa area client is looking for a Senior Human Resource Consultant for a 4-8 week contract. In this role, you will be responsible for providing HR and Labour Relations support as well as oversee matters related to employee benefit and compensation. Responsibilities would include: -Supervision of HR and payroll; -Develop policies & procedures and research to make recommendations; -Oversee the compilation of new collective agreements; -Identify collective agreement proposals; -Provide advice and information to management; -Compliance and; -Other duties as required

Requirements: The ideal Senior Human Resource Consultant will have the following skills and experience: -A post-secondary education with a concentration in Human Resources; -Successful completion of CHRL Designation or equivalent; -A minimum of 10 years' experience Human Resources with expertise in areas including labour relations, HR policies and programs, compliances and federal legislation; -Excellent knowledge in strategic planning and able to plan for future HR Management needs; -Superior time management and communication skills.
