Our client in Port Coquitlam is looking for a Senior Legal Administrative Assistant to support their dynamic, fast-paced office. This is a temp to perm opportunity. Position starts ASAP, is Monday to Friday, working regular office hours. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and conducting client intake meetings and collecting information

  • Communicating effectively with clients

  • Scheduling and leading claim team meetings

  • Managing claims accounts

  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents

  • Conducting legal research

  • Preparing for trial

  • Preparing bills and closing files

Requirements: Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years office experience providing administrative support in a law firm

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

  • In depth knowledge of the rules of civil procedure

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.

  • Proven ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Ability to work under pressure, to handle interruptions and to manage multiple requests.

  • Ability to deal with sensitive information using excellent judgement, diplomacy, and discretion.

  • Highly attentive to detail.
