Telus Director Implementation - TELUS Health in QC, Canada

Position Overview:

As a leader at TELUS Health and Payment Solutions, the Director, Customer Solutions Delivery is responsible for leading a team of professionals dedicated to implementing our products and services at customer sites (medical clinics and pharmacies). The successful candidate will also be responsible for the strategic positioning of the TELUS Health brand to drive the global penetration of our products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for direct and indirect team members, facilitate career development and encourage high levels of engagement through goal setting and team recognition

  • Develop processes to maximize the use of our resources and plan service deployments for customers across Quebec; this involves managing daily operational activities and planning the use of human resources to deliver services to our customers

  • Promote a high-performance culture that encourages the Customer Service Delivery team to create a competitive advantage for our customers; determine staffing requirements for organizational management and customer service delivery

  • Oversee the implementation of human resources policies, procedures and practices, as well as the writing of job descriptions for all employees

  • Recruit, interview and select candidates who possess the technical and personal skills to advance the TELUS Health mandate and support TELUS values

  • Oversee the performance management process implemented for all TELUS staff, which involves continuously tracking employee performance and conducting monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews

  • Manage and coach employees as appropriate to improve performance and engagement

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills; capacity for effective motivation with the ability to create a culture of teamwork, empowerment and accountability

  • Ability to prompt cooperation and commitment from peers in other departments and divisions; aptitude for working in a matrix organizational structure

  • Strong sense of personal and business integrity; commitment to ethical business behaviour

  • Business, financial/budget and project knowledge; business development experience in all areas of technology implementations

  • Self-starting initiative; great adaptability; ability to see change and challenges as opportunities

  • Verbal and written communication skills (English and French) and excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence all levels of management

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent, plus 10 years of relevant experience

Required Experience:

  • University degree required; qualified candidates have a university degree from a recognized educational institution and/or appropriate work experience

  • Operational leadership experience at a senior management level; proven leadership experience and an understanding of service assurance, service delivery and related processes and technologies
