Insulet Corporation Territory Manager/ Clinical Specialist, Canada in Quebec
The Territory Manager/OmniPod Clinical Specialist will be accountable for effectively promoting and providing support for the Omnipod Insulin Management System to Healthcare Professionals (Endocrinologists, Diabetes Educators, etc.), as well as people living with diabetes and their caregivers. The Territory Manager/OmniPod Clinical Specialist will work in close collaboration with other partners including OmniPod Customer Care in order to support people living with diabetes through the OmniPod acquisition process.
Provide ongoing OmniPod product education and training to increase confidence with OmniPod for health care professionals in diabetes clinics.
Own the development and implementation on a strategic multi-level stakeholder’s business plan, aiming at driving optimal adoption of the Omnipod Insulin Management System.
Create and execute promotional sales opportunities to people living with diabetes and caregivers through direct interactions.
Develop and implement patient focused events such pump information sessions and in-office educational meetings.
Work in close collaboration and synergy with the Customer Care team to ensure exceptional customer service.
Work in close collaboration with Inside sales to ensure timely and effective internal processing of pump leads to sales
Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, and competitive landscape with respect to insulin pumps.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse , ideally with CDE certification and/or insulin pump experience.
Seasoned sales experience in medical devices, consumer goods or diabetes devices (pumps, meters) a plus.
In depth understanding of type 1 diabetes, insulin therapy and insulin pumps highly valued.
Well proven track record of entrepreneurship and ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
Ability to work and navigate in a complex environment, requiring the integration and alignment of multiple stakeholders.
Communication: Highly developed verbal communication skills with high versatility.
Strong ability in building relationships with high level of empathy across customer types.
Strong team player with proven leadership skills.
Interpersonal communications both oral and written.
Good use of computers applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Ability to travel up to 40%.
This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company – leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, Insulet will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements.
