Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Support will assaist with manufacturing coordination and improvements
Create traveller package including BOM, traveller, drawing, and additional manufacturing support docs
Create job structure in M3
Organize and manage all Distribution orders from other warehouses
Organize and manage all Intraco orders
Organize and manage all stock orders
Close and receipt all stock orders including calendar jobs
Co-ordinate and implement new Lean ideas and manufacturing improvement projects
Support annual and periodic inventory counts
Support closing of shipping orders
Backup support for Production Scheduling
Research and fill out PO requisitions for manufacturing
All other duties as assigned by your manager

Manufacturing experience within an office environment. Technical diplmoa or degree (Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technologist) or similar experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering designs and procedure manuals. Ability to write detailed technical reports, presentations and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of 3rd party customers, suppliers, employees and management levels across the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a high level of technical ability are required.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Above average numerical skills to understand, interpret and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical engineering problems requiring innovative designs and/or solutions. Ability to solve complex practical problems and make independent decisions under minimal supervision. Ability to mentor and train less experienced colleagues on given area of expertise.
The employee must be able to sit, stand, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet (office environment). In certain areas of the facility, personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required, including safety glasses, steel toed shoes, and ear plugs. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. visiting customer sites), the employee may be exposed to situations requiring additional safety equipment/training.
