Job SummaryThe Marketing & Training Associate will play a key role in helping the sales organization develop and maintain a project commercialization plan, execute plans with the field and provide necessary sales training support so we can enhance value and help our customers grow their business:Specific ResponsibilitiesBusiness Planning• Collaborates with Marketing team and all McKesson partner businesses to develop and maintain a dynamic roadmap that documents and tracks key commercialization projects that impact the business and sales organization. • Leads the sales plan of action process with cross-functional partners (cycle planning process, meetings, critical path)• Defines and develops tracking metrics for all initiatives and ensure visibility of progress regularly to all stakeholders• Collaborates with BI team to turn customer insights into value added opportunities to drive business development with customers • Conducts customer/market research as required to support strategic initiative development/deploymentSales and Marketing Execution• Works with cross-functional and cross-divisional partners – Wholesale Distribution/Regions, Specialty, Sivem, Automation and other partners, business owners and subject matter experts to: o Develop and customize presentations and marketing/selling materials to support the commercialization of new services and initiativeso Develop communication plans and materials for customers and ensure balanced and planned cadence in accordance with business objectives• Manages the implementation of the sales plan of action (initiatives, messaging, tools, training) working in collaboration with the Marketing Director and Manager, Customer Supply Chain Solutionso Maintains CRM/ Saleforce.com Platform • Conducts reviews on the sales plan of action to determine gaps, key learnings to drive continuous improvement Training & Development • Supports the overall training and development plan for the sales organization(foundational training, new services and initiatives) leading key initiatives as necessary – to include:o Working with subject matter experts to develop presentations, implement training programs and support content needed to execute all initiatives at head office and field levels o Working with Marketing team, other McKesson businesses and potential third party resources as needed to develop content sales training for field sales and account management o Coordinating, organizing and contributing to development of training sessions and meetings Qualifications Key RequirementsQualifications• University degree in business, marketing or health sciences• 5+ plus years’ experience in healthcare business development, sales and/or marketing• A strong understanding of the McKesson business ecosystem is a benefit • Bilingual (preferred)Traits & Characteristics• Effectively manages complexity – can simplify and effectively communicate key information • High sense of urgency – demonstrates a clear bias for action, self-starter• Strong interpersonal, team collaboration, communication and presentation skills – able to communicate effectively across the organization • Strong organization and preparation skills, able to set priorities, able to manage project timelines and planning calendar• Highly creative with ability to seek out and implement new ideasBenefits & Company StatementMcKesson believes superior performance – individual and team – that helps us drive innovations and solutions to promote better health should be recognized and rewarded.
