Manage the medical and administrative aspects of occupational injury cases;
Participate in and prepare various case hearings or propose conciliation agreements, as needed (in collaboration with the Manager, Health and Wellness);
Advise and support the team in the medical assessment of cases of disability or occupational accident and illness;
Propose and participate in activities designed to respond the various organizational health and wellness needs (screening, education and awareness-raising program: nutrition, vaccination, stress, smoking, etc.);
Develop a pre-employment medical examination protocol and participate in research conducted by generalists and medical experts;
Develop a protocol for management’s health program and pre-employment examinations; support research conducted by generalists and medical experts.
Undergraduate degree in nursing sciences or other related field (certificate);
Certificate in occupational health and safety (an asset);
Membership in a professional corporation or association: member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et des infirmiers du Québec (an asset);
Five to eight years of experience in the management of occupational accident and illness cases;
Very good command of French and English (spoken and written);
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel particularly);
Very good knowledge of the CNESST laws and regulations
Knowledge of Canadian provincial laws on occupational accidents (an asset).
