Robert Half Office Team Inside Sales / Customer Service in Surrey, British Columbia

Permanent opportunity for a Customer Service Representative with large Surrey based organization. Due to growth, our client is adding to their Inside Sales/Customer Service team. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible to manage a group of accounts, and duties will include taking calls from customers, receiving orders via phone, EDI, fax and email and entering them into the company ERP system ensuring accuracy of vendor codes and pricing, entering purchase orders and tracking down any outstanding purchase order numbers, liaising between the plant and retailers with respect to deliveries including short shipments or returns and credits, calling accounts to ensure level of service is being met and follow up on any additional requirements they may have. In addition this role is responsible for managing Excel spreadsheets and creating reports and pulling data.

Requirements: If you're a customer service professional with experience within the manufacturing and or distribution and are looking for an opportunity to work in Surrey, this may be the role for you. The successful candidate will have 5 plus years of experience in a similar position, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to work in a fast paced dynamic and deadline driven environment and have excellent customer service skills and committed to always going the extra mile. Experience with an ERP system, ideally Syspro and an advanced user of Excel is a must. Excellent time management skills, higher than average data entry with a high level of accuracy are both considered mandatory.
